My Farewell Treat (V)
Wednesday, July 1, 2009
Food Republic @ Pavilion KL
Fried Prawn Noodles - RM7.50
I like the way they serve it using a type of leave (not sure what it calls)
Similar to soup version of prawn noodles, this was laden with ingredients that you and me used to see such as prawns and taugeh, and fried with some additional stuff such as cuttlefish and eggs. Noodles were fried until wet enough and you can expect slurrrpyy effect while having this

Dragon-i @ Pavilion KL
We were at Dragon-i Pavilion for farewell lunch for Jo. We made a prior reservation for 10 of us, and were seated in a section specially cater for big groups. So it was rather empty....

Appetiser - Pork Roll 蒜泥白肉青瓜卷 - RM14 per portion
What you see here is 2 portions
Crunchy vege wrapped by soft pork slice, garnished by garlic sauce, served cold. Something new to all of us, and we found it good...
Diced chicken fried until crunchy and fried with lots of dried chillis. It is not that spicy as we think by the way. Maybe it has been adjusted to suit local taste...

B'day girl - Elvina
We had problem in selecting our dinner sets. I guess all of us felt to try out all in the menu as the pictures presented made our saliva dripping....gulp!
Tempura set - RM35
Soft Kani Maki - RM42.
Maki with soft shell crab. Ed's order, which i found he likes to order this often. My favourite too.
Tempura Udon - RM28
Nat & Darren already half eaten this by the time i snap the pict.
A happy dinner with funny bunch of people...hehe...
The price of the food in Kampachi is a bit on the high side compared to others. But given the impeccable service by the waiter/waitress and the quality of food, i will definitely come back in future for the hearty and good Jap food...
