~~ Dear Fwu Sheng ~~

~~ Dear Fwu Sheng ~~

I believe it has been an amazing journey for you throughout the few years of you living in KL

It is definitely not easy for a single guy to be independent in a city without any family members around

You have managed to deal with it naturally with your happy go lucky character and many good friends around

Miss the time that we spent talking hours and sharing stories

Miss the time we hee-hee ha-ha together

Why does it take a minute to say hello and take forever to say goodbye??

Remembering the treats that you and the gang spent on me

Remembering all the laughters that we had together

Remembering all the obstacles that we went through together
Remembering all the joy and fun that we experienced together

Every goodbye makes the next hello closer

All the best in your future undertakings

God knows when we shall meet again!

Lucky 28

Life has been good being 28 years old. Having been working for almost 6-7 years since graduated, my career has been progressively well. I am lucky to have joined a firm (although is not the big 4) that has a good working environment. A place that allows me to learn and grow. What is more important, i am lucky to have met good bosses. Bosses that always provide rooms for improvement to the employees. Bosses that never feed you, instead they guide you along and let you understand by yourself. This has made myself a more confident person, as compared to what i thought i am....
I wouldn't say that i am a perfect staff. I wouldn't say that i am loyal. I am just an ordinary employee, working in a firm, meeting the required deadlines and etc. Audit life is a hell to some people. I agree, but it sometimes depends on what you are looking at. If you wanted to learn while you still young and energetic, audit is a good place to train yourself.
I am a very shy person previously. I never have the gut to talk confidently to strangers. I never have the gut to give presentation in front of many people. I always need to seek second opinion from other people when i make decision, even though i know that my solution is already correct. Having said that, everything has changed now. Presentation to clients is normal now. I even have the confident to provide training, and also providing solutions on the spot to clients. All this has been gained from the firm that i have worked for more than 5 years. I am in the 6th year working in the firm...Ups and downs. Big jobs small jobs. You will never stop learning from audit line. It keeps changing....
I have earned many valuable experience. I have learned a lot of things. I have experienced different kind of situations. I have met different level of people, not to mention those people that is really fussy and real bugger. I am satisfied with my current progress. But i have never imagined myself carrying such a serious title - Senior Manager. Am officially carrying this title from this month onwards.... A big thank you for all my beloved bosses! And also my peers and team members in the firm!
I never thought that i will be in this industry for so many years. It has never been my first preference. I am also not sure why i am still here, after seeing so many of my peers leaving the industry one by one. Probably no idea where to go, or probably no any factor to push me to leave....
Meeting the special one who is residing in the neighbouring country was a bless to me. Will i leave to be with him? Am seriously considering the possibility to move over there, if opportunity arise or given. Things may not be the same anymore if i am leaving my current firm. Bosses have seriously asking me to reconsider. Hmm...what should i do?
Good news is, i am enjoying my 1 month break now! Haha....few travelling plans going on. Am seriously need this break to "recharge" myself, to relax, and to think of the next move for myself.
To go, or not to go? So hard to decide la ~~~~

Enjoy your life before it's too late....

I am a fans of Yasmin Ahmad, a well-known lady director in Malaysia. I like the way she presented her movies. I like the way she presented TV commercials, mostly for Petronas especially during Merdeka season. All her movies and "muhibbah" commercials have captured my heart and it made me feel very touched. There is no boundary among peoples, all races to her are the same. I read from a newspaper that she herself was married to an Indian guy previously before divorced and married a Chinese guy.....
I followed her news closely ever since i knew that she collapsed unconsciously during a meeting at TV3 (if i'm not mistaken). Her condition went critical, and finally bid a farewell to us and was laid to rest yesterday..... Rest in peace ~~~
The sudden death of her has made me wonder a lot of things. Life is really short if you ask me now, we really wouldn't know what will happen tomorrow. Well i am not trying to give any negative influence here, but what i am trying to say is:
  • if you have any dreams, please make it happen no matter what, before you lose the chance...
  • please enjoy your life even though your career has occupied most of your time. Plan your time wisely, and spend the after-work and weekend time with the people you love, be it your family, kids, spouse or friends....
  • if you have something to tell a special one, please tell him/her as soon as possible. Do not think that you will lose a friend after telling that, as you will definitely regret if you never tell them so. Do not let the feeling of regret haunting you the rest of your life...
  • be inspired by your gut feel and do what your heart tells you.....
  • people dying to finish high school, dying to finish tertiary study, dying to start working, dying to get married and have children, dying to give the best for the family, dying to retire, and when people is really dying, suddenly people realise that they forgot to LIVE. Please don't let this situation to happen to you....

I do not wish to live a life of wondering what-if. I rather say it out loud and have an answer. It may not be the answer that i wish, but at least i tried and will never regret....

Life is very short, so break your silly ego, forgive quickly, believe slowly, love truly, laugh loudly and never avoid anything that makes you smile....

Dear readers, please live life to the fullest....Don't let any golden opportunity slip your way. If you feel to do something, just do it.

I am enjoying my life with my loved ones (including a special one who is currently in SG ^_^) and i love my career. I sincerely hope you do.....

Gone were the days....

Life is full of surprises
It comes when you least expect it
It comes at the right timing
Never thought of meeting the special one
Especially since is offshore away
Appreciate the fate that put us together
Gone were the days when i was free
Doing anything, just being me

Netball Match @ IAFG

Netball was 1 of the many sports that i involved during school times, be it primary or secondary school. Still remember how the coach shouted here and there while coaching us the rules and scolded us for the mistakes :P Well...good old days....
I started to play this game again since last year, thanks to the Inter Accounting Firm Games (a.k.a. IAFG). This year's involvement was my second. Our firm registered to join in this game, and the captain started to gather the employees in our firm who is interested to play. Well, i was super duper busy during the training period but i would think that, sports play an important role in our life too! Haha....

We had our training session at Kompleks Sukan Kampung Pandan twice a week for a consecutive 4 weeks. A complete netball team requires 7 players from each team, and we would need 14 players for each session. However, we always faced difficulty in getting the complete 14 players to play. Since the training session was at the sports complex, we managed to play with another group of working people who happened to have netball training at the same venue. We even played with a gang of sprinters (majority were guys!!!).....

Contrary to last year where we had a coach to monitor us (thanks Stacy!), this year we were all on our own! No idea on the exact rules and regulations, no coach on field meaning we may not take training seriously (hehe..) and so on.... But hey! Miracles happened this year! We managed to enter semi final of the netball match and it was totally out of our expectation! It's a historic moment for our firm....

The Team
Jenny, Sin Lay, Sook Ching, Mida, Mie, FeMei, Hoh Yan, Sylvia and Wai Shin

This picture was taken just before the qualifying match. All looked excited and fresh!

This was taken after the match...we were all wet as we played in the rain @_@
Truly excited after managed to enter semis!

Mie as GD - Goal Defend

Good Pair of D

Oh well, we lose to EY during the semis, but we had fun! Enjoyed the environment though, the spirit where we couldn't find during work time. I still got to go back work after the semis by the way...poor Mie....haha....
Netball again next year? Hmm...we shall see....

A long lost friend

How does it feel when you manage to meet your long lost friend? They could be your old schoolmate, college mate, or even kindergarden mate....
I recently met an old friend of mine, which i have not seen since year 2002. So it means it is near 7 years. Not that we didn't plan to meet up, but it seems that there will be something came up whenever we fixed the gathering.
And recently we found each other in Facebook. (Facebook is definitely a great invention!) So we decided to meet up one night. I was like having phobia during that day itself, fearing that probably something came up again and we wouldn't be able to meet up. Probably you may think, if the meeting was cancelled, just make another appointment lo...but hey! You wouldn't understand the feeling of meeting a good friend that you have lost contact for so many years and it has to be canceled again. I seriously do no want to wait another 7 years to see him again...haha...
So we met up on Wednesday night. My good friend has changed a lot, especially physically..haha...oh well, he got fitter and not as skinny as before. Good for a guy at his age =)
I was wondering before we met whether we still have the "click" and having same topic of conversation. 7 years, it's not short nor long but many things could happen in this 7 years. Phew~~~ both of us were so glad that the click is still there, and we talk non-stop for almost 3 hours...just like the way we did before many years ago.
I treasure my friendship with my friends very much, especially with those that i can click with. Believe me, it's not easy to find peoples that you can click well, some people so just happen to appear in front of to turn you off. If you do meet those lovely peoples, i hope you treasure the friendships.
KL, it's been nice seeing you again after so many years. Things may not be your way previously but i believe good luck is with you from now onwards. I wish you all the best in your undertaking and most importantly, Happy Marriage to you ^_^

It Hurts!

I think i am in bad luck today. Something went wrong...and i really have no idea what went wrong???? It's just not my day, i think...
  • I suffered breath suffocation during the netball training last Tuesday. Went to see doctor and she said i am fine and normal. I went to regular gym session on weekend also, nothing seems wrong too. Today i went for netball training again. First half of game, everything seems ok, i didn't even feel tired. Mana tahu on second half of the game, i suddenly feel difficult to breath again!!!!! SIGH! What's wrong with my body?????? And i hurt myself today in the training! What an unlucky day!
  • Have been wondering today whether am i being too nice to people around me and they continue to take my kindness for granted? Be it at work or personal, i really feel "tired" of this. While i understand all the reasons behind it, i do hope people is considering my situation and emotion as well. I am a very understanding lady anyway...If not, many people will get brushed off by me since long time ago. Maybe because of this reason, people starts taking advantage of me....

And i seriously don't want to have such feeling again. I hope i will be fine tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a nice day. The day after tomorrow will be even more fulfilling...i wish....

Time for some fun

Realised that most of the group members are all stressed out in work, we decided to partly sponsor the group outing on last Thursday. Having enough of eat drink eat drink session previously, we decided to hold this outing at RedBox Karaoke @ Low Yat Plaza. There are many good singers in our group so we thought this event would be a rather good idea to unwind ourselves after the months long of hard works....

RedBox does have package for big group of pax. We have around 32 pax on the night, and the package came about more than RM1,000. Package included drinks, fruit platters, buffet, and we could sing until 4am in the next morning. What did we find as the most delicious food in RedBox Low Yat?

Ta Daaaa
FRUIT PLATTER !!!
Seriously, i think none of us fancy the buffet spread. It's relatively lesser (much more lesser) choices compared to Neway. Quality of food? Still can eat la, but don't expect too much. That's why i said the most delicious one will be the fruit... :P

Some photos taken on the night...

Package inclusive of free cake, so me and Julie whose birthday falls in June got to cut the cake, much more earlier than our actual birthday!

Ju, why closed your eyes la....

We had lotsa fun listening to the members singing, being those that are really good in singing, or...*ahem ahem*...

We had fun that night, although some left early. Me myself enjoyed singing k, maybe it's the process of releasing stress for myself. Looking forward to the next k session. Anyone interested?

- NO ENTRY -

You know sometimes some restaurants do not allow customers to borrow their "lovely" washroom, be it for hygienic reason or whatever reasons. I found it quite ridiculous sometimes. We paid for the foods and drinks. We are your customers. Aren't you as an owner or boss of the eatery, at least give us the benefit of using your washrooms. I know some patrons they do mess up the toilets, either squatting on the toilet bowl (eeeyeerrrrr!!!!) or whatever, ended up the toilet is so bloody dirty for next user. For me, i rather not going in if such situation happens.
An owner of a small restaurant probably fedup with all these, has come out with a BRILLIANT IDEA..........

Tell me. Do you dare to go in? What if there's a big dog hiding inside? What if there's someone guarding inside armed with a parang? What if.....???? As a lady, i am hesitate to go in already....what about you?

I found this funny actually....hahahahahahaa~~~~~~~~

ps: the above is found in a shop in Imbi, my fave lunch spot ^^

Don't Ask Her Why...

There's a lady who has been asked by many people around her, especially recently, on the following questions:-
  1. You look gorgeous and attractive....Why are you still single?
  2. Why are you still single? You must be choosy lar....
  3. Why are you still single? There must be many guys going after you and you are choosing the most suitable one....
  4. You are kind-hearted, nice to people, cheeky and has great personality. Are you sure there's no one falling to you?
  5. Hey you can cook! Presentable too! Must be a very good girlfriend and wife lar..... But why still single??
  6. Why are you still single??? Whyyyyy.......

It's kinda annoying sometimes as the girl has no answer to the questions above. She has been thinking about it on the possible answers too, and let's see what's in her mind:-

  1. Gorgeous doesn't mean anything. It's even harder for a gorgeous lady to get courted, coupled by the fact if she has a rather good career. Guys may find him too attractive to go after....Maybe guys "paiseh" lar...
  2. She is not choosy. She likes to make friends around, and enjoy the moments of hanging out with friends. Probably she has met many guys who are not sincere, guys who just like to play around, guys who cheated on her. And she was smart enough to realise all this before everything is too late...that's why she is still single....
  3. It's only an illusion that many guys are going after her. Actually, she is also unsure whether there is anyone going after her currently. Everything seems to be uncertain nowadays. She has indeed met potential guys, but ended up everyone seems like taking advantage on her. Sincerity.....she wonders whether they understand this word anymore?
  4. People telling her that they like her, ok well, so go ahead to court her. Walk the talk please....
  5. Probably girls who know how to cook and has a perfect wife's characteristic is no longer an advantage to today's society. Probably guys like wild girls nowadays, whereby they are able to dump immediately if something goes hair wire someday in future. Better don't mess up with a so-called nice girl ehh??

Thanks to all the nice people around who compliment that she is gorgeous, cheeky, nice, lovely and so on. It could be just a sweet talk, but it could be a truth, depending which type of people is telling this. She is flattered, and she is happy...

The lady has met someone who somehow share the same philosophy with her lately. She befriended a friend recently, and he commented that he has somehow lose trust in relationship. Sincerity seems to be extinct nowadays. Oh well, the story of the friend stops here, as she has not gotten any consent from him to disclose anything here.

But, let me share the story of the lady here, which i think somehow relates to what he mentioned:

The lady has met wrong and unsuitable guy before, she met the wrong people at the wrong timing, made her life miserable at once. She had a hard time going through the transitional period, and realised that the bad experience has made her grown wiser. She is thankful to people who made her sad before, as she can now stand strong whenever anything goes wrong. She has much confidence on herself nowadays, taking and seeing things on another perspective. Life has never become so wonderful to her before. She is enjoying her life to the fullest everyday. Probably, the only thing that is missing in her life currently is a good companion. But after going through a few round of "possible relationship", similar with the guy friend as mentioned above, she also thinks that sincerity is already extinct. People take her kindness to granted. She laid her honesty to them, but she did not receive anything sincere in return. People is sometimes too demanding if they know that you are kind-hearted. But sometimes please do respect her kindness. She just do not want to have an enemy. She only likes to have friends around her. She hates to hate people.....

The lady has met unsuitable person before, but she still believe hope is still around. She believes that God will not ill treat a lovely lady or a charming guy. The right person will appear in front of you on the right timing. If you see her/him, please grab the chance and do not let her/him go.

The lady respects her friend who put the sincerity as his priority. He has gained the highest respect from the lady. There is no point being together if the couple is not sincere in any relationship. Please do not waste your time with someone who is cheating on you, someone who is taking your kindness for granted. You have many more wonderful things awaiting you to experience ahead...
To the lovely and adorable guy, if you are reading this, firstly please accept my apology for sharing your thought here without getting your consent at first (i buy you dinner next time ok??). I sincerely hope that you will find your little princess that shares similar passion with you and able to make you happy. Most importantly, i hope she is the one that has a kind and sincere heart ...
Love is like a Life
It's not always easy and it does not always bring happiness
When we do not stop Living
Why should we stop Loving
Readers, appreciate your loved ones. I hope you guys are having a wonderful life now....
~~ Good Luck ~~

My Passion

~~ A simple post on my Passion ~~
Those who are close to me should know that i appreciate foods very much. Whatever that relates to foods, be it cooking, baking, food hunting and etc.... it's all my favourite past times. My friends like to enjoy my cooking, and i am more than willing to share with my loved ones...
Passion on foods has reached to a level where i started to blog few months ago. I have the interest to pen down my comments after trying out in any eatery, be it posh restaurants or simple stalls. Friends find me for ideas, and also introduce me the many good eateries around town.
I once imagined before that i will somehow someday venture into F&B business in future, if i have earned enough experience from my current career. I dream of meeting my soulmate who shares the similar passion with me, and we would hand-in-hand making our F&B business a success, building our own F&B empire...
It's all a dream....will it come true? Let's see how....

Dear Jo...

It was your last day at work on 30.4.2009....you called it a day after more than 2 years of the hectic life... Our relationship is no longer purely office mates...it has expanded to be more than that.....

It was the most hilarious trip ever cos we learned a new word from you....WaiYah!

The gang was also helping in organising the firm's 2008 Annual Dinner....

We had fun in becoming part of the committee, although was tiring, but we felt some kind of achievement after it ended up smoothly!

You have truly made a lot of friends here.....

And you found your best mates here too....if i am counted by the way...haha...

We are so lucky to have you as our friend...someone who is so funny..hahaha...
We wish you ALL THE BEST in your future undertakings...whereever you are...
