Chrysanthemum Tea

The whole world is currently on swine flu alert. Coupled by the inconsistent weather in our country, i found that people around me are falling sick, mainly due to flu, sore throat and heaty body. I myself was having a bit of sore throat recently and felt the body was a lil bit heaty too. So, it's time for some refreshing drink again.......

This round, i have boiled chrysanthemum tea. Mom bought a big packet of dried chrysanthemum tea for me and i finally boiled it few days ago. Rinse 2 handful of the dried flowers, put into a pot of water, boil it, add some rock sugar depending on your liking, about 15-20 minutes later...it's done!
This tea can aid in the prevention of sore throat and promote the reduction of heat in body. It may also help relieve certain type of headaches, blurred vision, fever and dizziness. It can be safely drunk on a regular basis and it's a very refreshing drink to me.

I like to drink home-made chrysanthemum tea as those i found outside were either too watery or too sweet. Guys, hope you are good out there and if you feel heaty or going to fall sick, drink chrysanthemum tea then.....good day!
