Little Taiwan @ Avenue K

Having visited Taiwan during Xmas last year has made me realised on the vast variety of snacks and foods offered in that country. If you are going to Taiwan, make sure you try everything there as you would never want to feel regret after coming home. The foods are real cheap, superb yummy and I didn't even manage to savour all during that trip itself! It is just too much! I still can remember the yummy taste of papaya ice blended...~phew~ I will post about Taiwan trip soon, after i realised that many of people around me will be visiting there ater Air Asia has launched the flight to Taipei in last month....

Oh well...let's come back to this post. I have noticed the existence of Little Taiwan for quite some time, but i always only ended up take-away the Milk Tea and never been really sitting down in the outlet itself. I had a bad experience during my visit in their MidValley outlet last year, so i have somehow blacklisted this eatery from my list of fave restaurant. It is because i do not have much confidence on their foods, other than the drinks.....

Daniel, who is among my best mate in office, asked to go for lunch together on last Friday. It has been quite some time since both of us having lunch together, so i suggested to visit Little Taiwan in Avenue K. I guessed, probably i need to give this restaurant another chance, and it was also because i was craving for Milk Tea....haha...so we had our lunch date there....

Now only i realised that they do offer set lunches. Individual set lunches is from RM10.90 onwards, inclusive of main meal and a drink. They are also offering set meal for 2 pax at RM24.90 onwards, excluding drinks...

Open kitchecn concept is mushrooming all over the place....honesty? Guess so....

Red Pearl Milk Tea & Jasmine Honey Tea
I love the Pearl Milk Tea...the level of sweetness suits my liking and i like the pearl underneath too...very chewy.
Daniel has no comment on the Jasmine Honey Tea...normal lo...

Our set meal for 2 pax
Comes with 2 white rice, an appetiser, a side dish, a soup and a main course
Sounds not too bad eh?

This is Taiwanese Kim Chi...real good!
I like the sourness of this Kimchi..it was very appetising and i craved for more!
The Kimchi was very crunchy too...definitely can beat the korean version...

The main course - Special Beef Shank
Lean beef and braised to their recipe...a very good rice companion

Pork Meat Ball soups
Giant size of pork ball....very nice! I like!

Side dish - Braised Tofu
I like braised tofu..i also don't understand why. And this is among the best that i will definitely order in the next visit. The tofu was so flavourful after absorbing the braised sauce...yummy...

Burpp! FYI i didn't finish the pearl cos it contains high calories..lol~~~

Noticed i didn't disclose the price? Cos Daniel bought me the lunch...Thanks mate! It was the fate of meeting this charming guy. We only know each other about a year, and it was a special complicated office work that made us click to each other. Oh well....the "click" that i meant is not those on couple thingy...we are just good office mate, and apart of talking and gossipping about office stuff, we sometimes share about personal stuff. Oh by the way, i hope his wife is not angry if she is reading this post...hehe...

Some times it's a destiny of meeting someone that you really can talk to. You may know some friends for more than ten years but sometimes you just do not have the feel of sharing things with them. Sometimes you may have just known a new friend but you can talk non-stop, and including disclosing some private stuff with them...That's what we call the "click"... Whatever friendship it may be, i will definitely treasure it....

Last but not least...Happy Marriage to Daniel ! May you and your lovely wife has a blessed marriage and live happily ever after.... I am saving pennies to attend your wedding in November ya =)
